Translation & Notarisation at Mithaq

Many procedures in Dubai need a certified legal translation: marriage contracts, birth certificates, court judgments and commercial contracts. Our legal translators work from Arabic into English and back, and a second colleague checks names, numbers and dates before the stamp.

We also help you prepare documents for the notary public and for attestation steps, and tell you the fees and appointments needed in advance.

Matters we handle in this area

  • Translating marriage contracts and birth certificates
  • Translating judgments and commercial contracts
  • Same-day urgent translation
  • Preparing documents for the notary public
  • Document attestation steps
  • Reviewing earlier translations

The list is illustrative; after the consultation your lawyer tells you what applies to your case.

How much does legal translation cost?

AED 120 per page from Arabic into English or back, including the second check and the stamp. Same-day urgent translation costs extra, and we tell you how much in advance.

Can I send the documents by email?

A clear copy is enough to start; we hand you the stamped translation at the office, or send an electronic copy if the receiving authority accepts it.

Do government authorities accept your translations?

We translate through licensed legal translators, whose translations are usually accepted by authorities in Dubai. We advise you to check the requirements of the authority concerned, and we help you do so.

How long does a translation take?

Most personal documents are ready within one working day; long contracts depend on the number of pages.
