Mithaq — Family & Property Lawyers

Privacy policy

This page explains what data the Mithaq website collects and how we use and protect it.

Consultation requests

When you request a consultation we collect your name and phone number, the practice area, lawyer, day, time and way of consulting, the service if you choose one, and any note you write. We use them only to confirm the appointment and remind you of it. Our website forms never ask for the details of your legal matter, so please don’t type them there; you explain them to the lawyer at the consultation.

Professional confidentiality

What you tell your lawyer, your documents and your file are protected by professional confidentiality and kept in the office’s systems, not on this website. We share no part of them except with your permission, or when the law requires us to.

Messages and documents

We send confirmations and reminders to the phone number or email address you choose, and never send marketing messages without your consent. Please don’t send original or confidential documents through the website forms; we agree a safe way with you after we are in touch.

Accounts and the message form

  • Client accounts: name, email address and password (stored encrypted).
  • The contact form: your name, email address and message.

Cookies and browser storage

We use only the cookies needed for signing in and for protecting forms. Your browser keeps your choices in the booking wizard until you close the tab; none of this reaches us until you send a request. We use no tracking or advertising tools.

Retention and your rights

Consultation requests and contact messages are kept for twelve months and then deleted, unless they become part of a client file. You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion at any time from the contact page, and we reply within thirty days.
